Ова функција се користи за проналажење одређеног подниза.

Синтакса

Размотримо два низа стр1 и стр2. Синтакса би била:

 str1.find(str2); 

Параметерс

стр : Стринг који се тражи.

пос : Дефинише позицију карактера на којој треба започети претрагу.

н : Број знакова у низу који се тражи.

цх : Дефинише карактер који треба тражити.

Повратна вредност

Враћа позицију првог знака првог подударања.
