Тхе Јава за петљу користи се за понављање дела програма неколико пута. Ако је број понављања фиксно , препоручује се употреба фор петље.
Постоје три типа фор петљи у Јави.
- Једноставно за петљу
- За сваки или Енханцед фор Лооп
- Означено за петљу
Јава Симпле фор Лооп
Једноставна фор петља је иста као Ц / Ц++ . Можемо да иницијализујемо променљива , проверите стање и вредност инкремента/декремента. Састоји се из четири дела:

Јава фор-еацх Лооп
Петља фор-еацх се користи за прелазак низа или колекције у Јави. Лакше је за коришћење него једноставну фор петљу јер не морамо да повећавамо вредност и користимо индексну нотацију.
Ради на основу елемената а не индекса. Враћа један по један елемент у дефинисаној променљивој.
